The Order of the Arrow offers a variety of high adventure programs each year, giving Arrowmen the chance to explore the outdoors at national high adventure bases. Whether you’re drawn to ocean exploration, wilderness treks, or canoeing historic waterways, there’s an experience suited to your interests.
Every program blends adventure with meaningful service. Participants help maintain trails, protect natural areas, and support conservation efforts while working alongside Arrowmen from across the country.
These opportunities challenge you, introduce you to new environments, and create lasting memories. Whether you’re hiking remote terrain, paddling quiet lakes, or diving into the ocean, OA High Adventure strengthens Scouting’s future and offers an experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Section E5 OAHA Scholarship
Section E5 offers annual scholarships to encourage participation in Order of the Arrow High Adventure Programs and to support hardworking youth Arrowmen. These scholarships are intended to help offset the cost of attending an approved OA High Adventure experience.
Youth wishing to be considered should email their completed application to the Section Adviser at adviser@e5.oa-scouting.org by April 1st. Awards may be up to $100, with one youth selected from each lodge based on demonstrated merit and financial need.
After the review process is completed, recipients and their Lodge Advisers will be contacted by email. Scholarship funds can be used only for OA High Adventure programs taking place during the same year the scholarship is granted.
